The Big Blue

A few days spent in the McKenzie Basin is enough to widen your horizons,

…….and fill your heart with awe and wonder – both day and night.

“I believe the world is incomprehensibly beautiful – an endless prospect of magic and wonder.” — Ansel Adams

Staying at the brand new Lakestone Lodge was just as magical as the stunning location.

  1. Thank you for liking “Happy First Day of Summer.” Nice landscape pictures! I especially like “the setting moon over Lake Pukaki.” I can see why you enjoyed your stay at this beautiful place. 🙂

  2. New Zealand looks like such a magical place, so many beautiful places. I am hoping to get there one day. Maybe Xmas next year. I have heard the South is better than the North, is this true? Also are you able to suggest one place that would be a must to see, or maybe there are too many beautiful places there… I would appreciate it for future reference. Thanks.
