its always been a dream of mine to visit Yosemite…

And here I am! It is truly awesome. I have a peculiar sense of Deja Vu, to be here for the first time, given that it is so familiar to me.
From the first introduction many years ago through the incredible photographs of Ansell Adams and the countless images I’ve admired since, along with the magnificent Ken Burns documentary on the history of the National Parks it seems weird to finally be here and experience it living and breathing. To think it was the first place in the world to be set aside purely for its preservation. Simply awesome… We would’ve got to more spectacular places too but the roads were closed in anticipation of a storm – that never came (apparently it was in Wellington instead!)
outstanding photos, love half dome with the mist and fog! even like the crow 🙂

Me too. It was always out of the roads I’ve traveled so far. Stunning Nature! I guess soon we can find new beautiful paintings on your website:).
Enjoy!

Me too! The closed roads were very frustrating, especially as it was only precautionary 😦

An awesome place! ……I visited there as a child and remember only that it was where I caught my first fish a trout which then got away!
